Nintendo has released a new game trailer for its upcoming game "Pokémon Sun and Moon" during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016. Three new characters were revealed.

First on the list is Yungos, a mongoose Pokémon that is always hungry due to its fast digestion. Its abilities include Strong Jaw, to crush and consume hard objects, and Stakeout, an attack that has twice the normal damage to any opponent that enters the battlefield mid-way.

"Each Yungoos chooses its own particular route for searching out prey. It stalks along this route searching for food until it's exhausted, at which point it drops and sleeps wherever it may be. It's thought that these Pokémon decide their routes based on safety, so that there's no risk in falling asleep at any time," the description of the Pokémon says.

Second is a flying-type Pokémon called Pikipek, which is similar to a woodpecker. This Pokémon is fast enough to strike an opponent 16 times per second with its sharp and pointed beak. It can drill through hard wood and can even break stones into pieces. Its skills include Keen Eye and Skill link. It also shoot seeds to its enemies.

"These Pokémon drill holes in trees and store food in the holes. They also like small, glittering objects and will tuck them away in their food stores, too. It's often said, 'Something lost, something missed, check inside the Pikipek nest,'" says the description.

The third to be introduced in the trailer was Grubbin, a larva Pokémon, that is often found near power plants and substations. It simply likes electricity so much that it does not leave the place any longer. Its abilities include Swarm, plus it spews a sticky thread from its mouth, which it uses to swing from on place to another.

Additionally, the Pokemon website revealed that Solgaleo and Lunala have other forms, Radiant Sun Phase and Full Moon Phase. They transform into their other forms once they have used their signature attacks.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" will come out on Nov. 18 for the Nintendo 3DS for US$39.99 each.
