Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily's (Shay Mitchell) dates for their little home prom will bail out on them in the upcoming episode of ABC's teen drama/mystery/thriller series "Pretty Little Liars."

According to TV Line, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) will turn down Hanna's invitation to spend prom night with her. Her boyfriend is apparently driving to New York to visit his dad and cannot be persuaded to postpone the trip. The two's relationship has been on the rocks all throughout season 6 and it looks like the prom incident will be the final straw in the coffin.

When Hanna still persists that he come home earlier so he can attend, Caleb tells her there is just no point as they will just be wasting time "watching Molly Ringwald movies." He says that he will not miss anything and that they can do that anytime. He cannot explain to Hanna, though, why he has to bring an "industrial-strength laptop" for the short trip.

Meanwhile, Emily will have her share of disappointment when Sara (Dre Davis) declines her own proposal to attend the event together. The International Business Times reports that Sara will tell Emily she will be joining their school's prom on the same night. Before they part ways, however, Emily tells her that maybe they can hang out some other time, which the other seems to like.

It has been previously reported that Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Emily, Hanna, and Aria (Lucy Hale) are prohibited from attending the prom at Rosewood High due to security reasons. Their mothers, however, will decide to set up a makeshift mini prom for them in Spencer's barn so they will not miss the experience.

The girls give in gracefully, trying to make the best out of the situation. Ella (Holly Marie Combs), Pam (Nia Peeples), Veronica (Lesley Fera), and Ashley (Laura Leighton) will also use the time to catch up on everything that has happened so far with their children.

Meanwhile, Charles will not miss the chance to wear his tuxedo and join the festivities. He has big plans for the girls, somewhere along the lines of kidnapping them.

"Pretty Little Liars" airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
