The cat-dating simulation role-playing game "Purrfect Date" is coming to the App Store for iOS devices on Valentine's Day.

The personal computer (PC) version of the game came out earlier in December. Now fans who want to play the game can do so in the convenience of their iOS devices.

"Purrfect Date" brings players on a remote island named Cat Island. Players take on the role of a research assistant under Professor Pawpur with the main task of cataloging the island's strange cats. During the assistant's first evening on the island, the player's character will be lured to another area of the island where hostile cats reside. The assistant will then pass out from an attack, weakened by an odd sickness that saps human energy. Not long after, the assistant will wake up to a beach nearby surrounded by friendly felines the assistant can now weirdly understand.

Soon, players will realize that their characters have been infected by a cat-transformation disease — in a matter of time, they will fully transform into cats. Players will then have the choice as to how they want to spend their time as the assistant. They can either do research projects for Professor Pawpur (however, they have to leave the island after three research projects) or they can gather information about the Cat Island's mysteries. Players will be able to search clues about where the strange felines came from, why cats are the sole inhabitants of the island, what exactly is the reason for the existence of the cat-transformation disease and the cure for the said disease.

As mentioned earlier, the player's character's time in the island ends after the third research project for Professor Pawpur. The game does not end after the first assistant leaves the island, however, as players will get to play as five more research assistants. After a new assistant is played, there will be a progress on the creation of the cure for the cat-transformation disease and the reason for Professor Pawpur's research will slowly be revealed.

"Purrfect Date" for iPhone and iPad will retail for around $5. Meanwhile, the PC version is currently on sale at 25% off on Steam.
