Ubisoft has confirmed that a new DLC is bound to release soon for "Rainbow Six Siege," with the new pack having Japan-themed content like new Japanese SF operators and a new map.

The developer posted a teaser trailer for the new map, further giving hints that the next DLC is set in Japan. In the footage, the new location is described to be "perched high above the streets of Nagoya, Japan set on top of The Skyscraper." Art director Gregory Fromenteau also teased on what the new mission will be about. The Ubisoft executive said, "You are mobilized to neutralize an organized crime threat within a Yakuza-filled mansion high above the streets of Nagoya," and that "There is a faction within the Higasiyama-gumi that rebels against their leader, which triggers terrible violence."

With the background information on the next DLC map's story, it is already expected that least two new Japanese operators will be added with "Operation Red Crow." Ubisoft has yet to come out with in-depth details on the rest of the pack, but supposed leaks were already circulating about the two new characters.

According to rumors, the two new fighters are Echo and Hibana, a male and female tandem from the Japanese Special Forces. In the purported screenshots, it is hinted that Echo may either be a support-type bomb specialist or a direct assault operator.

Meanwhile, the other operator, Hibana, is said to be an offensive-type operator with an EMP warfare loadout. Although it is unconfirmed, industry followers mention that her name's direct translation is "spark," hinting at a para-military weaponry expertise. However, there are some who believe that instead of an assault operator, Hibana is a chemical warfare specialist, as the character's supposed leaked image showcases the operator with a gun that looks loaded with chemical cartridges.

It is expected that Ubisoft will announce release dates for the new "Operation Red Crow" DLC during a live panel and demo on Nov. 12 to 13.
