'Ray Donovan' season 3 spoilers: Paige Finney is Ray's client

"Ray Donovan" season 3 will hit the small screen in Jul. 12 and to satisfy the viewers' craving for crime and drama, Showtime has released a bunch of new stills for episode 1 of the new season titled "The Kalamazoo," which will welcome Katie Holmes into the fold.

The "Dawson Creek" alum will play the role of a "complicated businesswoman" named Paige, who happens to be the competition-driven daughter of Ray's new client Andrew Finney, who, in turn, hopes to retire without worrying about his family's future.

As "Ray Donovan" season 3 takes the protagonist to helping the Finney patriarch, he discovers that Paige and Andrew share a complicated relationship much more complicated that the former's dispositions. In fact, Paige, who is "struggling to find her own power within her family" as Holmes detailed in a trailer for the season, may end up working with Ray and this is the cue for more not so nice dealings.

Upon the premiere of "Ray Donovan" season 3, fans will see fresh new faces in Ray's world of crime. "Mad Men" actor Aaron Staton will play the role of a high school teacher that's trying to escape from a terrible past. Leland Orser from "ER" will also join the pack as a cleric who traveled to LA to discover more about into Father O'Connor's death.

Jack Wagner will play the role of a game show host described as "obnoxious and self-important" and will share a moment with Cheryl Ladd, who will play Tina Harvey who is another game show host. Lastly, Sarah Shahi will also appear in "Ray Donovan" season 3 as an Armenian celebrity who will enlist the help of Ray and Lena.

Screenfad says that the show's return will see a Ray that is more focused on his career than anything else.
