Two weeks ago, it was reported that Brandi Glanville was leaving "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" after she tweeted on June 18 that she had "a HUGE decision to make today." Although Bravo has stayed mum about the reports, the reality star herself confirmed the news on the June 24 episode of her podcast, "Brandi Glanville: Unfiltered."

The 42-year old told her listeners that "after a lot of careful thought and deliberation," she decided not to return to the Bravo franchise for its sixth season.

"I mean, they've been awesome. And Bravo will always be my family. Like Andy [Cohen] said, 'It's the mafia, you never really get to leave us.'" Glanville said.

Shortly after her podcast aired, Bravo released a statement from Glanville on its website. In her statement, the author said that she decided not to return to the show as a full time cast member and that the past four years has been an "amazing, roller coaster of a ride." She added that she will always be thankful to the network for the opportunities that came her way since becoming a Housewife, and that in the meantime, she will be hard at work on her other endeavors which include her podcast, a new wine business, and a clothing line.

During her podcast, Glanville told her listeners that she's open to returning on a guest-starring basis, but will be occupied with other projects which she cannot talk about yet.

"If I'm available and they need me, they know where to find me," said the "Drinking and Tweeting" author.

Meanwhile, Reality Tea reports that Glanville is going to drop by Howard Stern's program on SiriusXM radio next week and she's promising to reveal a lot of "truth bombs" while she's there. Recently, the 42-year old went on a Twitter tirade, blasting Lisa Vanderpump for calling her a liar and she also accused Kyle Richards' husband, Mauricio Umansky, of messing with Kathy Hilton's husband's business to start his own agency.

Glanville also clarified that she wasn't fired from the show as reported.

"I was not asked back as a full time player but I have been asked back that doesn't equal fired," she tweeted on June 26.
