There are rumors that Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo might leave; but in an interview with Marca following the acceptance of his fourth Golden Shoe (formerly known as Golden Boot) award earlier this week, the world-renowned forward expressed the desire to finish his career with the club.

Ronaldo, 30, shared with Marca that he feels young and aims to play at a high level for five or six more years.

"I want to win and I am at the best club in the world. Logically, I have a contract up to 33, and as I have said many times my dream was to finish here at Real Madrid, because I feel good, I feel useful, and I want to stay," Ronaldo also told Marca.

In the interview, Ronaldo stated that he feels no different than when he was 25 years old.

He added that he does not "share this idea" of a player's game starting to drop when he reaches 30, saying that one will be doing well if they train everyday.

Ronaldo added, "You do not grow old overnight, it happens slowly. If you look after yourself, you can reach 40. I have the motivation to keep going."

The Golden Shoe award is already the fourth for Ronaldo, placing him above all the other players who have captured the recognition multiple times.

Aside from winning it for the 2014–15 season, Ronaldo was also given the award in the 2007–08, 2010–11, and 2013–14 seasons.

Following him in the list of multiple Golden Shoe winners is Barcelona's Lionel Messi who already received the award three times (2009–10, 2011–12, and 2012–13).

But Messi was not included in the names Ronaldo mentioned when asked who he thinks will be his competition for the award this season.

The Real Madrid star mentioned the names of Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero, Robert Lewandowski, Neymar, Karim Benzema, and Luis Suarez, but not his Argentine rival.
