There is no confirmation about the collaboration of Swift and Gomez but the tweet by Borchetta was considered as a hint by many fans. Swift and Gomez has been silent about the matter. However, Gomez did post an Instagram story of herself singing "Gorgeous."

Gomez recently released the music video for her track "Wolves" with Marshmello.

Gomez and Swift are known for their friendship inside and outside of the music industry. Gomez did perform her hit song "Who Says" with Swift during her final "Speak Now" Concert in the United States. However, the two have not done any song together.

Those confirmed to have worked on Swift's newest album are Grammy Award winner Ed Sheeran and rapper Future. Both artists are featured in Swift's song "End Game."

There had already been rumors that Gomez would be part of "Reputation" even before Borchetta's tweet. Perez Hilton ignited the rumor on Aug. 24 with his own Twitter post. Other speculations also included the names of another Grammy Award recipient Drake and Pop star Kesha.

"Reputation" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 10 with a total of 15 tracks. So far, Swift has teased her fans with three songs from the album including "Look what you made me do," "...Ready for it?," and "Gorgeous." Music videos for "Look what you made me do" and "...Ready for it?" have already been released on YouTube.

This album is Swift's sixth studio album to be released through Big Machine Records. Her previous album "1989" was a huge success. The album won the "Grammy Award for Album of the Year" in 2016. Fans will find out if Gomez is indeed part of "Reputation" on Nov. 10.
