Throughout the recent episodes of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," some of the ladies speculated that Vicki Gunvalson's ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, is faking his cancer. It all started when a psychic told the ladies on the reality show that he couldn't "see" any cancer in Ayers' body. Some of the housewives began to doubt his condition more when Ayers told them that he had stopped undergoing medication in favor of alternative treatments.

Speaking recently to Entertainment Tonight, Ayers said that he has cancer and that he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a form of blood cancer. Ayers revealed that he will be back in Los Angeles for another round of treatments starting in October, and he said that some of the ladies were accusing him of faking his condition because they want to "create drama."

"I think they do it to create drama—manufactured drama, and that's sad to me," he told ET. Ayers said that he has distanced himself from the drama in many ways because it brought on stress that "quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation."

As proof of his condition, Ayers took to Twitter on Friday, Sept. 25, to post a link to his cancer documents. The documents, posted on RealMrHousewife.com, show his clinical history indicating that he has Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Last Wednesday, Heather Dubrow responded to Ayers' claims, explaining that "there is no manufactured drama on the show."

Dubrow said that though viewers don't get to see everything, what they are watching is actually happening and that the show's current season is "raw, real and disturbing."

"I think Brooks is going to be judged and tried by the court of public opinion," Dubrow told ET. "To say this season and situations were manufactured for drama is just not true."

Dubrow added that fans should watch the reunion show and make up their minds whether Ayers is telling the truth or not.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
