'Rise of Industry' update: Early Access now available on Steam and GOG at 15% off

Early Access to the production simulation role-playing game "Rise of Industry" is now available on Steam and GOG at 15% off for $21.24 until Feb. 17.

According to the Steam page of the game where players can currently avail of the Early Access, "Rise of Industry" is a strategic typhoon game. Players take on the role of an early 20th-century industrialist whose main goal is to build an empire. Players will have the opportunity to build factories, construct working transportation lines, transport raw materials, produce finished goods and trade with other developing cities. Trading is given importance in this game for when players trade with others by means of providing them with resources, they also grow and prosper as their trading partners do.

The minimum and recommended system requirements for "Rise of Industry" are also listed in the Steam page. For the minimum system requirements — operating system (OS): Windows (64-bit only) 7/ 8/ 8.1/ 10; processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, 3.0GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+, 3.2GHz; memory: 4 GB random-access memory (RAM); graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260, 512 MB or ATI Radeon HD 5670 (integrated cards not recommended, HD4000 minimum); DirectX: Version 9.0c; storage: 1 GB available space; sound card: any and screen resolution: 1,024 × 768. For the recommended system requirements — OS: Windows (64 bit only) 10; processor: Intel Core i5-3470, 3.20GHz or AMD FX-6300, 3.5Ghz; memory: 6 GB RAM; graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660, 2 GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870, 2 GB; DirectX: Version 11; storage: 1 GB available space; sound card: any and screen resolution: 1,920 × 1,080.

According to the itch.io page of the "Rise of Industry's" developer Dapper Penguin Studio, the game is inspired by the classic games "Industry Giant," "Transport Tycoon," "Anno" and "Factorio." The alpha version of the game was also acknowledged as itch.io's top-selling game in 2017.
