Jane (Angie Harmon) and Dr. Maura (Sasha Alexander) will be heading to the West Coast to investigate a new case in the upcoming episode of "Rizzoli & Isles."

In "Fake It 'Til You Make It," TV Guide reports that the dynamic duo will be sent to Los Angeles to investigate a tie up between two murders. A body turns up in Boston that is apparently connected to another case in LA. Jane and Maura will have to find out how the killings are entangled and whether they are works of one and the same person.

Meanwhile, love is in the air for the two pairs of lovebirds. While Jane and Maura are off to LA, Angela (Lorraine Bracco) and Korsak (Bruce McGill) are planning a double date with their respective partners. Viewers will get their first look at the detective's life coach-turned-girlfriend Kiki (Christina Chang), whom he has kept out of the limelight for a long time. Angela, on the other hand, will show off her new boyfriend Ron (Gregory Harrison).

In a recent interview, showrunner Jan Nash shared their plans regarding the romantic relationships of the characters. In the cases of Korsak-Kiki and Angela-Ron, it appears that the show is planning happy endings for them.

As for love interests for Jane and Maura, Nash said those are not in the books at the moment. The besties will be having their share of suitors, but apparently, there will not be serious entanglements.

"We're gonna bring in characters we hope they have interesting sparks with, but at this moment, we're focused on other things. We're not done with the season yet, so that can change," said Nash.

When pointed out that the "real" problem for the lack of love lives of the two main casts was that their potential "other halves" had been pirated by other shows, the EP joked that maybe such was the case.

He playfully said that actors who are interested in being series regulars on other programs should do four or five stints in "Rizzoli & Isles," pertaining to the show's notoriety of being a good springboard in launching careers.

"Rizzoli & Isles" airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
