TNT's favorite dynamic duo will be having their share of difficult moments in the upcoming episode of "Rizzoli & Isles" season 6.

In "A Bad Seed Grows," Cartermatt reports that the process of solving the murder of a minor will weigh down on both Jane (Angie Harmon) and Dr. Maura (Sasha Alexander). The 16-year-old girl is murdered and left in a cage. In order to find the killer, they must convince two important people who hold the key to unlock the puzzle — an irresolute psychiatrist and a difficult prosecutor. Meanwhile, Jane also has to deal with her couch issues and Frank (Jordan Bridges) needs to have his head checked, as he appears to be seeing unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

Last episode, the detective and the forensic expert needed all their wits to help uncover a crime in which the sole witness suffers from prosopagnosia or facial recognition blindness. The unusual condition made it very hard for Elliot (Eddie Jemison), who saw his boss being murdered, to identify the culprit.

Good thing that his other senses were working on hyper drive, as he was able to warn Jane and Maura that the killer was actually Spencer Romero (Anthony Vitale), a drug lord whom the dead man was laundering money with. While Elliot certainly could not rely on his eyes to pin down Romero, the little things that he heard and smelled during the time of the murder helped put the crook behind bars.

Also in episode 6, Jane's cousin Carlo (Robert Cicchini) came to visit the family and it was a disaster. It turned out he only went to the Rizzoli's home to scam them. But Maura proved to be heaven-sent, as it was due to her quick thinking and smarts that they were able to put a stop on the feisty Italian's plans.

Meanwhile, TNT has renewed "Rizzoli & Isles" for season 7, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The installment will purportedly air summer of 2016 and will consist of 13 episodes. The show recently garnered 6.3 million total viewers in live-plus-three viewing, putting it on number one spot as the most watched show on cable at this time.

"Rizzoli & Isles" airs at 9 p.m. EST on Tuesdays on TNT.
