'Rock Band 4' news: Players can join the 'Rock Band Road Crew'

Fans of the popular rhythmic music game known as "Rock Band" now have a chance to prove their fandom even more as they now have the opportunity to join the "Rock Band Road Crew."

Harmonix Music Systems, the game's developer and publisher, has indicated that fans who are able to successfully join the "Rock Band Road Crew" will be getting some free goodies for their troubles.

Fans who want to join the crew will first have to be United States or Canadian citizens and have to be at least 18 years of age. If they meet those requirements, then they can complete an application for the "Rock Band Road Crew," and they will also be asked to submit a video. The video will have to be between at least one to three and a half minutes in length. Of course, the video has to include shots of the applicant and his/her friends playing "Rock Band" with the phrase "impressive solo" found at some point in the video, according to IGN.

Once an applicant manages to successfully join the "Rock Band Road Crew," they will be able to take on a variety of tasks that can in turn reward them with points. The points can then be used to claim rewards.

Rewards for members of the "Rock Band Road Crew," include downloadable content (DLC) of the upcoming game as well as magazines and some other goodies from Harmonix.

Interested applicants have until Sept. 13 to hand in their requirements to be a member of the "Rock Band Road Crew."

In related news, more songs for "Rock Band 4" have been recently revealed, according to iDigital Times.

Some of the new songs coming to "Rock Band 4" include "Arabella" from the Arctic Monkeys, "The Impression That I Get" from The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, "Superunknown" from Soundgarden, and a bunch of other singles.

There are currently 50 songs confirmed for "Rock Band 4."
