For Ronda Rousey, the world caved in at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 193 with that loss to Holly Holm.

Although she may not have had anything in mind, critics and people she had traded proverbial jabs with will likely be belching out a big laugh, except perhaps for two figures who are big in their own right — Floyd Mayweather Jr. and new UFC women's bantamweight champion Holm.

Mayweather and Rousey have had their share of verbal jabs at each other, psyching out one another with lots of trash talk which came out mostly this year. Many people awaited what slur Mayweather would have after Rousey's shocking loss to Holm. However, Mayweather does the exact opposite.

Instead of feasting on the defeat, Mayweather surprisingly comes to Rousey's defense and offers to help Rousey if she would need it. Mayweather never tasted loss in his career, although he knows how it feels to be brought down hard when you are pretty high up the ladder.

"I want Ronda Rousey to hold her head up high and don't let this discourage you. If you need help as far as with boxing, I'm here to help you," Mayweather says via Fighthype.com.

The other person to rush to Rousey's defense is Holm, the one who conquered her last weekend.

Despite the tumultuous weekend which included Rousey trying to spur up some hype by rushing at Holm during the weigh-in and not touching gloves, Holm does a class act of coming to her defense, telling detractors to back off and that Rousey is a legend.

"I think people can be pretty brutal," Holm said via TMZ. She added, "And when you're in the spot shes in, there are people that are just going to jump ship and I don't ever wish for that."

Rousey is expectedly depressed and down right now but given time, she will come back. And that will most likely happen at UFC 200 where both Holm and Rousey are expected to figure in a rematch.
