Ronda Rousey rumors: Former UFC champ avoids the bad vibes on the Internet [VIDEO]

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion Ronda Rousey has been rarely seen these days following her UFC 193 loss.

The first thing that comes to the minds of people is that she is still trying to get things together after that shocking loss to Holly Holm, but through an interview with the MMA Junkie, she sheds more light on why she has kept her visibility at a minimum.

Rousey has rarely interacted with people who have made critical remarks about her and the things she does. All that is because she is avoiding all the negativity thrown at her (or anyone else for that matter), while further explaining that she is keeping social media as a means to distribute information and not receive them.

She explains that she barely reads information and tags involving her, saying people just don't look at her as a person but an "event."

Cutting it short, she posts and gives updates on what she does via social media and that is pretty much it.

Being a high profile celebrity, Rousey has had plenty of backlash and praises which, apparently, she is not aware of. Her choice, though, is something rare, with social media tending to be irrational at times.

With the pain she is dealing with right now (both mentally and physically), taking out the social media folks and limiting it to the reality of it all does sound like a good idea.

For Rousey's case, it is all about trying to get herself back on track. That "suicide" admission had, of course, gotten responses, but it is likely that the former UFC champion could not care less and did not take note of the reactions (unless someone brought it up to her).

The thing is she is taking the necessary steps for a proper return. She has been spotted back in the gym, which is a good sign.

She is expected to face Holm sometime this year for a rematch, although no official date has been given for now.
