The season of Jay and Mark Duplass' interesting anthology series "Room 104" is in full swing, as the show continues to surprise audience with its weekly release of unpredictable stories that feature different genres and themes. The upcoming fifth episode, "The Internet," will tell viewers a unique kind of technical support horror story as a man teaches his mother how to use the internet.

The story will revolve around a writer, played by Karan Soni, who checks into the titular room 104 of the motel. The writer calls his mother, played by Poorna Jagannathan, in order to retrieve an important document from his laptop.

The catch, though, is that his mother is computer-phobic and the document that he needs is the only remaining copy of the novel he's writing. He will have to talk his mother through using the computer and the internet in order to rescue the much-needed files in the laptop.

The plot is simple, yet it will be both comical and excruciating at the same time. It is an interesting and unconventional take on storytelling, as the characters background and relationship will be explored though a phone call. To add to the peculiarity, viewers will not even get to see one of the characters, since the story takes place inside room 104.

The story was written by Mark Duplass, who wrote all but five episodes in the season. In an interview with the A.V. Club, Duplass shared that he did not write the stories until they had the show "set up and ready to go." "So the plan was always to be a little bit all over the map, to be a genre-less show, and see what that would do. And so it was always kind of experimental in that way," shared Duplass.

"The Internet" will be directed by long-time cinematographer Doug Emmett and will air on Aug. 25 at 11:30 p.m. EDT on HBO.
