The rumors continue to flow in with regard to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the latest word around is that the device could be out by Feb. 21, 2016.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 release is something that may possibly happen and this will take place a day before the annual Mobile World Congress. The 2016 Mobile World Congress will run from Feb. 22 to 24.

Such is not surprising, considering Samsung has been unveiling devices ahead of the other devices expected to be showcased at the annual event. Nonetheless, nothing is certain yet at this point.

A new rumor buzzing around comes from known technology industry leakster Evan Blass or @evleaks. According to Blass, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is currently undergoing testing.

He claims that there are two variants already in the testing phase (SM-G930A and the SM-G935A).

The model numbers here seem to be the ones important. At the moment, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge over at AT&T bear the model numbers SM-G920A and SM-G925A, respectively, so there is a big chance that the said models in the testing phases are the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

With that said, Blass' revelation somehow comes in line with the spreading rumors that the new Samsung Galaxy devices are expected to come out as early as the first quarter of 2016. But right now, the features that the next Samsung Galaxy devices will be carrying are a bit sketchy.

Among the rumors tied up with it include either an Exynos 8890 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. It will be clad in a magnesium body and will reportedly offer faster Long Term Evolution (LTE) speeds as well as a Sony 12-megapixel rear camera with Android 6.0 Marshmallow installed.

Pricing has yet to be confirmed, although there are also rumors suggesting that the device will be 10% cheaper than the Galaxy S6 series.
