Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date, specs rumors: Device to be delayed due to the addition of a 4k resolution panel

Is this the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3? Twitter/evleaks

The recent IFA event in Berlin did not reveal the Samsung Galaxy S3's release date, and a lot of fans were disappointed because they have been waiting to get their hands on the highly-anticipated device. However, the lack of information about the Galaxy S3's release date might be because the South Korean tech giant is planning to add more features to it.

According to the Ecumenical News, the tablet might have a release date later than rumors anticipated since Samsung is planning to add more features. The alleged additional features include a 4k resolution panel and an AMOLED display that has a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution with two screen variants, an 8-inch and a 9.7-inch one.

Underneath the device's surface, it can be expected to use an octa-core Exynos 8890 processing chip. As most tech enthusiasts can remember, this is the same processing chip released for the Galaxy Note 7 and the S7 smartphone series.

The processing chip will then be complemented by 4 GB worth of RAM as well as two internal storage variants: 32 GB and 64 GB, respectively. As for its OS, it is expected for it to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also have an 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera, as well as a USB Type-C port that will facilitate both data transfer and power charging. As for the battery, it will have a 4000mAh capacity.

With all these features, the upcoming tablet is expected to have a base price of $420.

Meanwhile, the reason behind the rumors of the device's announcement in the IFA 2016 is because of a post originating from the South American Samsung website, as reported by the University Herald. However, the announcement was soon retracted in order to avoid even more negative publicity. In any case, it might not be long until the company announces it, so fans should just stay tuned for more updates.

More recently, I’ve enjoyed Christian movies Unsung Hero and Jesus Revolution on limited release in the UK, but it’s rare for such films to make the multiplex chains.
