"Scorpion" is coming back on air for its third installment in the second week of October, and rumors suggest a potential death along with a lot of romance to spur within the Scorpion team.

The upcoming season of "Scorpion" will reportedly address Toby's (Eddie Kaye Thomas) rejected marriage proposal for Happy (Jadyn Wong), and Walter's (Elyes Gabel) unprofessed feelings for Paige (Katharine McPhee).

Back in "Scorpion" season 2, fans witnessed a rather emotional scene when Happy did not accept Toby's marriage proposal, which makes way for a more serious and dramatic storyline surrounding the two's relationship in season 3, especially since McPhee hinted that Happy's previous husband is going to be introduced in the upcoming season, according to an International Business Times report.

Moreover, the report also stated how Walter's life could potentially be endangered, and could lead to the team moving forward without him. However, the rumor about Walter's possible death is not one that fans are too keen to believe, especially since Walter and Paige's relationship is just starting to unfold.

Other highlighted happenings in "Scorpion" season 3 will surround Cabe's (Robert Patrick) love interest and Ralph (Riley B. Smith) lending a hand to a boy who has autism.

On another note, according to CarterMatt, the premiere episodes of "Scorpion" have been titled "Civil War" and "More Civil War."

In season 3's first episode, the team will be facing a group of hackers out to attack American cities by taking over several U.S. military aircrafts and warships. Whereas in episode 2, the team will be put in a more difficult position as the hackers they are going up against have managed to get their hands on a U.S. nuclear submarine and is about to launch a missile attack.

The premiere of "Scorpion" season 3 will air on Monday, Oct. 3, at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS, and will be moved to a 10 p.m. timeslot on Mondays for the rest of the season.
