Service Celebrates Church's Ministry of Healing

Celebrating the Church's Ministry of Healing, a Thanksgiving and healing Service will be held at St Eunan's Cathedral, Raphoe, on 10 November at 8pm.

The Reverend Dr Russ Parker, who is the Director of Acorn Christian Healing Foundation in Hampshire, will be preaching at the event.

Dr Parker is the author of a number of books including "Healing Dreams", "Forgiveness is Healing" and "The Wild Spirt".

He travels extensively around the UK and abroad, lecturing and teaching on issues connected with the Christian Healing and counselling ministry.

He was recently awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree from Columbia Evangelical Seminary in the USA in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Christian ministry and for his many writings and teaching abilities.

In particular, the award was given for the standard of scholarship in Dr Parker's latest book, "Healing Wounded History", which is about reconciling peoples and healing places.
