The premiere episode of "Shameless" season 7 has launched online, a week ahead of its broadcast release on Oct. 2. Episode 2 will pick up right where the premiere episode ends and will see Fiona (Emmy Rossum) take on a new approach in managing Patsy's Pies. Frank (William H. Macy), on the other hand, tries to rebuild his life by disowning his family.

Showtime has posted the premiere episode on the official site a week early. The events in the episode see Frank getting into more trouble with his kids after he got into a comma and was found unconscious in Lake Michigan. Fiona continues to manage the shop after Sean's departure.

Episode 2, titled "Swipe, [expletive], Leave," will pick up right after these events and will see Frank contemplate disowning his family. However, he is not entirely prepared to leave everyone behind, and he needs to get used to what his new life may be.

According to the synopsis posted on the official site, the episode will see Frank barricade himself on the top most floor of the Gallagher home. To ensure he isn't entirely on his own, he will be taking Liam under his wing, and the trailer also showcases that he will meet people at the homeless shelter, adopting them as his new family.

The episode also reveals that Debbie (Emma Kenney) is going to get into more trouble as she struggles with the stroller business. In the trailer for season 7, she is shown resorting to stealing in order to make ends meet. However, she will eventually get caught and tried for theft.

Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) is forced into abstinence, and Ian (Cameron Monaghan) is reportedly trying to be heterosexual. Unfortunately, the trailer and synopsis do not reveal how successful their attempts end up, although the synopsis for episode 3, courtesy of TV Guide, reveals that Carl is also going to get an STD scare, hinting that his abstinence did not last long.

"Shameless" season 7 premieres on Showtime this Oct. 2, and it will be followed by episode 2 on Oct. 9.
