With the success of the first two seasons of Japanese animated series "Shokugeki no Soma," fans are eagerly waiting for an announcement regarding the third installment. The "Cooking Master Boy" version of Japan has dominated TV screens since its release and season 3 is expected to feature the budding relationship of diner chef Yukihira Soma and elite chef Nakiri Erina.

According to Stars Post, rumors about "Shokugeki no Soma" season 3 revolve around the centralization of Totsuki Culinary University. Soma, who recently finished his training, will be coming back to school to face the challenge that will come with Etsuya Elizan's announcement that the Polar Start Dormitory will be closed. Left with the threat of having no house to go home to, fans are speculating that season 3 will likely see Soma and his friends attempting to save their dormitory from being closed down.

Erina, who has so far been grudgingly building a relationship with Soma and his merry band of aspiring chefs, will join forces with them to face the expected challenges. That's not to say that Erina won't have her own problems. In fact, her father Nakiri Azami, who replaced her grandfather, will probably be her biggest adversity in this anticipated installment of "Shokugeki no Soma." Spoilers indicate that he will be establishing new rules and that he will threaten to remove Erina from her position in the Elite Ten if she refuses to adhere to the rules.

With homes and reputation on the line, can Soma and Erina move past their differences so that they can create a strong team of world-class chefs to face the threats set upon them? The studio behind "Shokugeki no Soma" has yet to release an official announcement about the series' season 3 but fans are expecting it to return in July.

In the meantime, the previous seasons of "Shokugeki no Soma" are available for streaming online.
