Big news after big news is being revealed in the current season of TLC's controversial reality show "Sister Wives."

After Kody Brown and his newest wife Robyn happily announced that they will be having another baby, his first wife Meri will be dealing with another big blow to her life after her legal divorce with the polygamist. This time, Meri will have to face a major health scare.

In the recently aired episode of "Sister Wives" season 6, the 44-year-old mother of one consulted with a doctor after realizing that she has been rapidly losing weight.

"Within about a 6 week period I dropped 30 pounds, just really fast," Meri revealed during the previous "Sister Wives" season 6 episode. "Of course I'm not going to complain about that, but it does tell me something's wrong."

Meri also complained about recurring stomach pains, which is why she was advised by her doctor to undergo a CAT scan. That was when they found out that her cervix has a significant thickening which could be a sign of cervical cancer.

Kody and Meri share a 19-year-old daughter named Mariah before she was diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility. But she never thought that she could possibly develop cancer, which is why she told her Twitter followers why she decided to go through the doctor's appointment alone.

Meri seems to be having a tough year, starting when her divorce with Kody was finalized so he could marry Robyn and adopt her three children from a previous marriage. Then she became a victim of a cybercrime when her online relationship with a supposed businessman turned out to be a fake because the guy turned out to be a woman.

Aside from Meri's health scare, the Browns will also have to face the judge's decision regarding the adoption petition filed by Kody to legally adopt Robyn's three older children Dayton, Aurora, and Breanna. But could the judge grant the petition even if the Browns are known to be a practicing polygamists?

"Sister Wives" season 6 airs Sundays, on TLC.
