Earlier this year on Sept. 29, fans of the classic video game console by Nintendo, the Super Nintendo Classic or the SNES, were left disappointed since the stocks of the item ran out almost immediately. Fortunately, Nintendo has heard the complaints from their loyal fans, and for a limited amount of time only, they have replenished their stock at the retailing giant, Walmart.

In a report by Forbes, the SNES will be available at Walmart from Nov. 15 to Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. EST at the retailing chain. It is notable to mention that these stocks could be even more limited compared to that of the September inventory, so video gamers would probably have to wait in line to guarantee that they can get their own consoles. Walmart will only allow each customer to purchase one console at a time.

One of the major problems as to why supplies ran out so quickly was the prevalence of online bots that purchased these consoles for them to be re-sold at a higher price point. According to the Indy Star, Walmart released the announcement online regarding the availability of the SNES so that fans will have enough time to plan just how they can get their hands on their very own SNES. However, despite the heads up, people will have to be quick about it.

Classic video game aficionados can expect to shell out about $80 for the SNES Classic, as reported by The Thrillist. The price may seem pretty steep considering that it is quite an old console that is merely adapted to be compatible with modern hardware, but the SNES Classic is inclusive of 21 classic triple-A Nintendo titles such as "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past," "Super Mario World," "Super Metroid," as well as the previously unreleased "Starfox 2."

The SNES Classic could potentially be the perfect holiday gift for loved ones as well as children.
