Sprint LG G Flex 2 price is $0, shipping begins March 13

Following AT&T's and US Cellular's footsteps, Sprint is also offering the second generation of the LG G Flex. The greater news is that the U.S. carrier is giving the handset with no upfront price to qualified buyers. 

The network is now accepting pre-orders for the smartphone and shipping will start on March 13. Sprint started offering the handset on Feb. 20. According to the company, subscribers will be able to take home the handset without shelling out a cent and no finance fees under the carrier's Easy Pay payment plan, and buyers will only have to pay for $21. Meanwhile, the off-contract version costs $504. 

Aside from flexible payment terms, Sprint subscribers are also treated with the Volcano Red version of the LG G Flex 2 that is available only in the network. The handset is also available in the Platinum Silver variant. 

One of the notable features of the LG G Flex 2 is its concave-shaped curved screen display. But aside from its 5.5-inch curved screen panel, the device boasts a Full HD P-OLED (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor from Qualcomm clocked at 2.0 GHz paired with 3 GB of RAM. Other features of the smartphone are: 32 GB internal storage with up to 128 GB additional storage via microSD slot, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 13-megapixel back camera, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, and 3000 mAh battery with fast charging feature. 

The LG G Flex 2 comes with Laser Focus feature for clear cut photos. For connectivity features, the device is equipped with Cat 6 connection as well as HSPA+ Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac with Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and USB 2.0.
