'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC rumors: What will be featured?

Fans are now eager to see what kind of downloadable content (DLC) will be featured for "Star Wars Battlefront," and for now at least, it's anyone's best guess as to what those new items might be.

One good thing to note about the upcoming DLC is that it looks as though the game's developers are seeking fan feedback to create the type of content that would be most pleasing to their audience.

According to Express UK, the game's developers over at DICE are conducting some surveys to learn exactly what the fans are looking for.

The survey reportedly touches on a variety of subjects, not the least of which is what fans currently expect to find inside the game's season pass.

Rumors have previously suggested that the developers of "Star Wars Battlefront" are already looking into adding more single player content, and it's likely that fans have also shown their support for that kind of DLC.

It's also entirely possible that the game's developers also add to the existing content they already have available.

According to What Culture, one distinct way for DICE to add to "Star Wars Battlefront" in its present form is to simply introduce more heroes and villains to the equation. The "Star Wars" universe is filled with interesting characters that could seamlessly fit into "Star Wars Battlefront," and it's not difficult to imagine the game expanding this way.

As for what kind of DLC fans should not expect to find inside "Star Wars Battlefront," any kind of content addition based on "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" would seem to be unlikely at this point.

Electronic Arts, Inc., the game's publisher, has already confirmed that they will not be featuring any new content based on "The Force Awakens" in the game, PC Mag reported.

Instead, the game's publisher indicated that "Star Wars Battlefront" would focus more on providing content based on the original trilogy.

More news about "Star Wars Battlefront" and its DLC should be made available in the future.
