Blizzard Entertainment celebrated their 25th anniversary with a bang at the 10th annual BlizzCon event that was held over the weekend. During the annual event, the company had announced several new updates to their different titles, including the third and final set of Nova missions for their highly popular military strategy video game, "StarCraft 2."

Despite the game already being out for more than 6 years, Blizzard has continued to keep players engaged by releasing additional mission packs called Nova missions. The new missions were released after the last stand alone title — "Legacy of the Void" — was rolled out. Each of the packs contains new missions as well as new commanders.

The new Nova mission was unveiled during Blizzard president Michael Morhaime's keynote speech. During the speech, it was revealed that players will be able to access a brand new co-op commander in the form of the former Terran Vice Admiral, Alexei Stukov. The former Terran leader is now a minion of the Zerg and serves as one of its infested commanders.

Along with the announcement, the company had also released a brand new preview trailer that showcased the new commander's unorthodox style of gameplay and how it can be used to control and overwhelm his enemies.

Stukov will be able to control a myriad of infested Terran units that were transformed using a new kind of Zerg hyper-evolutionary virus. Several Terran structures can also be utilized to further create infested Terran units which can be used to overwhelm an entire base.

The new Nova mission was announced to be made available to play starting on Nov. 22. Several players were also able to test out the different missions during the event itself.

The base game, "StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty" was released back in July 2010. It was then followed by "Heart of the Swarm" in 2013 and "Legacy of Void" in 2015.
