More casting details about the "Suicide Squad" movie has started to surface in various websites. Last week, The Wrap exclusively revealed that "Friday Night Lights" alum Jay Hernandez is in discussion to play the role of Chato Santana, the "New 52" persona of El Diablo.

According to Latin Post, Hernandez will portray a cameo role in the star-studded film. His character is imprisoned in Belle Reve, where he is joined by other notorious DC Comics villains like Killer Frost, Blockbuster, Live Wire, King Shark, and the like.

Meanwhile, confirmed "Suicide Squad" cast member Jared Leto teased fans about what they should expect in his own rendition of Joker. According to the Oscar-winning actor, he will portray Batman's wicked villain as a "beautiful disaster."

In an interview with Billboard, the actor/musician said, "The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character — that's what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right? [He's] this beautiful disaster of a character — what a big challenge."

The actor also said that he is trying to gain a lot of weight in order to prepare for the role. He joked about his weight gain problems in the said interview, saying, "It means I have to eat every couple of hours - and I'm terrible at eating a lot."

Leto's love interest in the coming film, Margot Robbie, who will portray the role of Harley Quinn, also talked about her excitement about the film during an interview with AZCentral. According to the Australian actress, she would not mind if she will be required to sign for a multiple picture deal for her "Suicide Squad" role.

"You don't need to have commitment issues to be frightened by the fact that you might have just signed 10 years of your life away. ... But with her, it's a character I don't think would ever get boring. Ever. So if they did Suicide Squad One, Two and Three, I would be over the moon about it," Robbie said.

Other A-list stars who will join Leto, Robbie, and Hernandez include Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Jesse Eisenberg is also in talks to reprise his role as Lex Luthor, while Viola Davis is under negotiation as Amanda Waller.
