"Suits" season 6 is officially returning by January next year. The second half of the season will start just after Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) has said goodbye to Pearson Specter Litt.

TV Guide reports that USA has announced that the official return of the TV drama series "Suits" season 6 will be on Jan. 25 next year. The show is anticipated to pick up just after Jessica has exited the firm, and will recap where things left off for each of the characters.

Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Lewis (Rick Hoffman) are left as the named partners of the firm, and they will have to work together – even though they don't get along – to keep Specter Litt standing tall, according to IBT.

Before Jessica left, Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) offered a merger between their firms. But now that she's gone, the show has yet to reveal if Robert's offer still stands and what the remaining named partners think about it.

Meanwhile, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) is out of prison and has yet to figure out what he wants to do next. Harvey has asked him to come back to the firm as a consultant, but Mike is not sure if returning to the firm will be true to his promise of helping people in need.

Rachel (Meghan Markle) will also be adjusting to having Mike back, and maybe the two can move forward with their marriage.

Lewis will also be facing new challenges in terms of his relationship with his fiancé Tara (Carly Pope). He recently found out that Carly was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's baby, and he decided to propose to her as a way of promising that he will stay by her side no matter what.

Another anticipated pair in the show is Donna (Sarah Rafferty) and Harvey, as they were seen holding hands at the mid-season finale of "Suits" season 6. A lot of fans are expecting that the two will move forward with a romantic relationship, but there has been no updates about a romance between the two characters.

"Suits" season 6 returns on January 25, 2017 at 10 p.m. EDT on USA.

His arrest — the result of a personal vendetta — was a devastating moment. But even in that dark place, God was at work. Today, Wilson is the Executive Director of Prison Fellowship Zimbabwe, leading programmes that are restoring prisoners and reuniting families across the country.
