'Supernatural' season 11 episode 21 spoilers: Sam and Dean look to Chuck to stop Amara in 'All in the Family'

Will Dean's convincing powers work on Chuck in "Supernatural" season 11 episode 21? YouTube/The CW

Sam and Dean make an effort to convince Chuck to stop Amara's world-wiping plans in "Supernatural" season 11, episode 21, "All in the Family."

In the promo for the upcoming "Supernatural" season 11 episode, Chuck, who turns out to be Amara's brother a.k.a. God himself, nibbles on his snack as Dean informs him of the horrors Amara is willing to do.

It does not look like Chuck is alarmed of her little sister's dark plans and her impressive enthusiasm to put them all in motion. This could either be understood as a sign of confidence or it could just be the big man resigning to the world's cruel fate at the hands of Amara.

Dean has never been so adamant in convincing Chuck to help stop Amara because the Darkness has turned her attention to Lucifer, who is still in Castiel's vessel. Amara decides to torture the devil and it's Castiel's body that is suffering every inch of pain.

Sam and Dean are running out of time in saving their friend, and they need Chuck now more than ever. The "Supernatural" season 11, episode 21 promo urges that "in Chuck we trust," so it looks like he will do something after all.

The clip also shows Amara stroking Dean's face lovingly, with the Winchester hunter feeling every bit of her touch. It is unclear what this means but someone is definitely playing charades.

It also appears that Amara had time to go after Sam since in the "Supernatural" season 11, episode 21 teaser, she stops the car Sam is driving and causes it to crash.

Amara seems to be angrier than ever, and if Chuck isn't going to step in now, the world is doomed. Will an epic battle between the powerful siblings finally take place?

Find out in "Supernatural" season 11, episode 21, "All in the Family," May 11 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
