The next episode of "Survivor: Game Changers" is expected to have some surprises coming for the castaways.

In episode 7 of the competitive reality television series, Jeff Varner was sent home after the entire team unanimously voted him off the island.

At first, the Nuku tribe had the upper hand in the immunity challenge, but later on, Mana was able to snatch it away from them. From there, Varner started to form an alliance against Ozzy Lusth especially since the tribes will be merging soon.

However, Varner also tried to work against Zeke Smith. When things became intense during the tribal council, Varner spilled that Zeke is a transgender. In the end, Varner packed his bags and became the seventh castaway who was voted out from "Survivor: Game Changers."

Varner's action outraged a lot of people. After the previous episode, Varner took to Twitter to apologize to Zeke and his family and friends regarding his actions.

He said, "Yep. I did that. And I offer my deepest, most heartfelt apologies to Zeke Smith, his friends and life allies, his family, and to all those who my mistake hurt and offended. I recklessly revealed something I mistakenly believed everyone already knew."

Varner admitted that he made a mistake and is not making any excuse for his actions, which he called the "worst decision" of his life.

He added, "Let me be clear, outing someone is assault. It robs a strong courageous person of their power and protection and opens them up to discrimination and danger." He went on to say that doing these things leave scars to people and how one should never do what he did.

Meanwhile, the two tribes in the show will be merged in episode 8, titled "There's a New Sheriff in Town." This is expected to bring in new alliances and other changes from the rest of the castaways. There are also rumors that Lusth may be the next one sent home in the upcoming episode.

"Survivor: Game Changers" will air episode 8 on Wednesday, April 19, at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
