For the second time, Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer proved their love for each other through a second wedding. The "Teen Mom OG" stars got married again on Saturday, Nov. 18, by holding a church ceremony.

The pair secretly tied the knot in May before Edwards went into a rehab. In an interview with E! News, he said that a church wedding was something they originally wanted. In fact, the couple had been working for it since they got engaged.

To recall, Edwards proposed to Standifer in December 2016 while they were having a romantic dinner. This scene was revealed in an episode of "Teen Mom OG" earlier this year.

"It was never just decided upon — we knew from day one this was going to be it," she said. Standifer also revealed that they had invited Edwards' former fiance, Maci Bookout, whom he has a nine-year-old son named Bentley.

Bentley had no idea that Standifer was already married to his dad. The "Teen Mom OG" star, who also has a son from her previous relationship, is also happy that everything seems to be in its proper place now.

"It's about our boys," she said. And although their marriage was a day for the couple, Standifer explained it was also about them becoming one family.

Meanwhile, Us Weekly reported Edwards voluntarily went to a rehab earlier this year to cure his substance abuse. He knew he needed help when his ex, Bookout, revealed on "Teen Mom OG" his addiction problems.

She even indicated that Edwards had been driving while he was under the influence of Xanax. On the other hand, Standifer's husband released an official statement about his recovery to the aforementioned publication.

After deciding to have himself self-checked in a rehabilitation center, Edwards revealed he was back home and doing well last June. After his treatment, he admitted his life has never been better. He is also grateful to his wife and parents for helping him recover.
