Questions have surfaced regarding the supernatural identity of Deputy Jordan Parrish, and fans may find the answers in the next season of MTV's hit TV series, "Teen Wolf."  Ryan Kelley, who plays Parrish in the show, told TVLine in an interview that fans can look forward to "big things" in "Teen Wolf" season five.  He expressed how excited he is about the new episodes.

"Teen Wolf" fans have been itching to find out what type of supernatural creature Kelley's character is.  A report from Hypable outlined a list of questions that the series' audience is expecting to get answered in the fifth season, and Parrish's identity was deemed as the number one question that should be addressed.

Kelley also mentioned how "Teen Wolf" creator Jeff Davis jokingly avoided him whenever he asked about Parrish's identity.

"I kept saying, 'If I know, I can play the character differently,' but I think that's actually why he doesn't tell us things ahead of time," Kelley said, while adding, "He did mess with me a lot, though; he'd smile and look like he was getting ready to say something, then walk away, or pretend to answer a phone call. He messed with me all season."

The actor claimed that he does not have an idea of what his character could be.  He did share that although he does't personally think that Parrish is a phoenix, it is a possibility. It seems to be one of the most prominent theories going around, primarily because he stayed alive and was not burned in the previous season.

Another speculation for "Teen Wolf" season five is that Parrish will develop a romantic affair with the banshee Lydia, played by Holland Roden.  The previous season showed how the two characters had chemistry even in just a couple of scenes.

"Whether it ends up being romantic, or just a friendship where he's intrigued by her, we're not quite sure yet," Kelley stated.

Season four's final episode, "Smoke and Mirrors," offered a preview of how Parrish and Lydia's romance might turn out. The two are expected to cozy up to each other as they seek to explore Parrish's identity and determine the kind of supernatural creature that he is.
