It won't be long before fans will get to see the gang on "Teen Wolf" as it returns with its second half of the season this January.

Fans are quite excited to see what the season would bring, especially with bits of details on some of the characters already revealed.

For instance, Theo (Cody Christian) is said to be determined to acquire the Beast powers and for him to succeed, he needs to transform into a werewolf, Australia Network News reported.

As previously revealed by showrunner Jeff Davis in a report from Entertainment Weekly, Christian's character will have the ability to change into a coyote. This will make him seriously dangerous and at the same time, a "talented chimera."

With this reveal, it's speculated that Theo will head over to the dark side and stay a villain for most of 5B.

Another story that fans should look forward to is that of Malia (Shelley Hennig). According to Davis' spoilers, Malia will be a big focus in season 5B, especially on her relationship with Dylan O' Brien's Stiles.

Malia is said to deal with her dark side since she's expected to break Scott's (Tyler Posey) rules. Davis revealed that Malia wants to kill her mother and this would mean defying Scott, who very well highlighted that the group doesn't kill or murder people.

Despite Malia's dark thoughts and Stiles also exploring his other side, the season will still feature romance between the two, according to Davis.

"We love romance at Teen Wolf and it's always interesting when they break up, they get back together and seeing the different variations on that and creating these kind of tragic romances," the showrunner told EW.

Aside from romance and dark sides, "Teen Wolf" will also bring back some teens from previous episodes, but Davis did not explain further on the matter.

"Teen Wolf" season 5 will return on Jan. 5, 2016.
