One of the most anticipated cars in the automotive industry is the Tesla Model 3. The vehicle is finally here and those who were able to place their orders ahead of the official launch should expect to see the all-electric sedan being delivered to homes this week.

This delivery update stems from a Reddit user named ry8 who revealed on the Tesla subreddit that his non-employee Model 3 was going to be delivered to his home this Monday, Dec 11. He even included a screenshot of what appears to be a confirmation email from the company. It also came with a photo of the White Model 3 with a VIN number 2079, as well as a request to submit final payment. The user followed up by saying that he lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This information follows a video made by Model 3 Owners Club on YouTube back in November which said that the company had started sending out confirmation emails and that the company would be delivering the Model 3 cars in a month or so. This continued on social media, where photos of parking lots full of the newest vehicle were featured all over California, so this definitely checks out with ry8's information.

In another Reddit thread, user garthreddit hinted that his Model 3 order had the VIN number 1534. Other reports seem to suggest that Tesla VIN numbers are assigned in a very disorganized matter, like with the Model X and Model S vehicles, so they should not be considered as solid proof of the production numbers.

In other news, in time for winter driving, those who will be able to get their hands on the Model 3 can now avail of snow chains for the car. According to Teslarati, the Model 3 snow chains can be purchased at the online store.

The chains are made of alloy steel and are being produced by Pewag, a renowned Austrian chain manufacturer. The chains retail for $115 and can be used on vehicles with the optional 19-inch wheels and 235/40R19 tires. The Tesla Model 3 usually comes with the standard 18-inch Aero Wheel that has a hubcap and is said to provide a 10 percent increase in terms of range.

The snow chains for the Model 3 are also good to use on the version that has a single motor and rear-wheel drive. Tesla is expected to produce another version of the Model 3 with dual motors in the latter half of 2018.
