Emily (Laura Spencer) will get her revenge for getting her heart broken by Raj (Kunal Nayyar) in the upcoming episode of the hit CBS series "The Big Bang Theory."

In "The Valentino Submergence," the synopsis reveals that Raj will finally get the courage to tell his girlfriend that they do not belong together. Last year, executive producer Steve Molaro said that Raj knew all along that Emily was not the right woman for him. He shared that if not for Raj's personality, the pair would have separated a long time ago.

"For a sensitive and insecure guy like him, the thought of choosing to break up with someone and then be alone is difficult. That's something he will be wrestling further in season 9," the showrunner told TV Line.

In episode 15, Raj will reportedly take the leap to tell Emily the truth — that he likes someone else and wishes to pursue a relationship with her. Raj will finally admit his feelings to Claire (Janelle Mara). Unfortunately for him, he may have seen a little bit too much of their sweet encounters, as Claire reveals she already has a boyfriend. When Raj learns of this, he will be horrified. He left Emily for nothing. Devastated, he will return to her and ask that they start again, but Emily has purportedly had enough.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode will also see Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) back to hosting another live episode of "Sheldon Cooper Presents: Fun With Flags" together. In one of the most recent episodes in the podcast, Sheldon ranted a lot about Amy. She just broke up with him and he was clearly hurting. Now that they are back together, viewers can expect another hilarious and fun discussion between the two as they teach the audience about the flags from different countries.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
