Big realizations and announcements are in store in this week's episodes of "The Bold and the Beautiful." Spoilers tease that Steffy (Jacqueline McInnes Wood) will have to face the inevitable while Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) have an announcement.

Starting off with Steffy, she is finally pregnant and Liam (Scott Clifton) could not be any happier about it. To him, having a little one is already the best Christmas present ever. However, that might not be the case for her. Steffy will be caught up thinking about the possibility of the child being Bill's (Don Diamont). That would be her worse nightmare, which is why she will decide to speak to him about this immediately.

While Steffy panics at this realization, Bill will be taken by surprise at the news. However, he will suggest that she needs to learn whose baby it is to get some peace of mind. Steffy could have a mental breakdown if she continues to evade the truth. Which is why Bill will try and convince her to take a paternity test. Steffy will undoubtedly be worried and she will maintain that Liam would never be able to forgive her if Bill turns out to be the father.

Steffy will try to convince herself as well as Bill that the child she is carrying is Liam's. Regardless, Bill will try to calm her down. He will point out that it could be liberating to know who the father really is.

Meanwhile, everyone will get together at the Forrester mansion. Apart from the family celebrating Christmas together, Brooke and Ridge will announce their engagement. The two might be over the moon about being able to get married again, however, their news will draw mixed reactions from everyone in the room. RJ (Anthony Turpel) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) will be happy to hear about Brooke and Ridge reuniting again. Thorne (Ingo Rademacher), on the other hand, will not. He remains to be against this union and he plans to make it clear.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs Mondays to Fridays, 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
