Peter (Chris Noth) is in big trouble in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "The Good Wife."
In "Target," CarterMatt reports that Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) estranged husband will be hounded by no less than the FBI. While it remains a mystery what exactly Peter has done to have the authorities sniffing around to get him, it looks like the case is serious and that sooner or later, he will find himself trapped with nowhere else to go.
Last episode, Ruth (Margo Martindale) even told Alicia to leave the "sinking ship" while there is time, as Peter would surely take her down with him when he goes down.
The knowledge that the Bureau was actually after Peter was realized when an agent started talking to Eli's (Alan Cumming) daughter, Marissa (Sarah Steele). Eli deduced that Peter was the target and the agent was just getting information about the people known to be close to him.
In the upcoming episode, Eli will be hiring someone to find out why the FBI is after Peter and what he can do in case they nab him. He will be getting the help of Elsbeth (Carrie Preston) on this one.
Meanwhile, Alicia's work for Lockhart, Agos, and Lee continues. This time, she will be asked to join "a secret panel of attorneys" that give advice to the government regarding a controversial case. This will be a big step in her career, provided that Diane (Christine Baranski) will not make things difficult for her. Last episode, she and Cary (Matt Czuchry) reminded Alicia that she was working for them and that she should not be deciding which case she would take. The case regarding the prototype tablet had been bloody, but thankfully, Alicia and Lucca (Cush Jumbo) were able to win it for the firm.
"The Good Wife" season 11 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
