Fresh from the shocking second season finale, fans of "The Royals" are now eager to find out how the fictional British royal family move forward from all the scandals that surfaced in the episode titled "The Serpent that Did Sting Thy Father's Life."

In the second season finale, Prince Liam (William Moseley) finally learned that Ted Pryce (Oliver Milburn) was the one who killed his father King Simon (Vincent Regan) when his bodyguard Jasper Frost (Tom Austen) discovered the video showing how Ophelia's (Merritt Patterson) dad killed the king. Then Liam found out from Dominique (Georgina Bevan) that her father Jeffrey Stuart is plotting with Ted to humiliate the Henstridge family by showing scandalous videos in front of the audience of the King's Cup football match at the Wembley Stadium.

Liam decided to plot with his twin sister Princess Eleanor (Alexandra Park), Jasper and Eleanor's body guard James Hill (Rocky Marshall) to thwart Ted and Jeffrey's plans. But before they could come up with something, James showed the murder footage to Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley). The Queen came up with a plan to change the video that Ted prepared to play in the stadium with the one showing the murder of the king.

Jasper and Eleanor hacked into the control room to broadcast the video showing King Simon's attack. Those present in the stadium were shocked to see how their king was heartlessly killed by his head of security. Liam ran for safety while the crowd attacked Ted. Eleanor reached out to hold Jasper's hand while watching the riot in the stadium.

Meanwhile, the animosity between Helena and her husband's brother King Cyrus strengthened when she faked his marriage with Prudence (Poppy Corby-Tuech) and allowed the palace servant to take with her their newborn son.

The episode also showed that King Simon's rightful heir Prince Robert could be alive when a man wearing a helmet marked with "R. Henstridge" was washed up on a shore. Will his return change the dynamics in the Palace when "The Royals" return for season 3?

E! Network has yet to reveal the official release date of "The Royals" for its third season.
