"The Surge's" latest expansion pack "A Walk in the Park" is now available for pre-order.

The trailer for the upcoming expansion pack was uploaded to Focus Home Interactive's YouTube Channel, giving fans of the sci-fi action, roleplaying game a glimpse of the eerie things to come. The upcoming expansion pack is set in a strange theme park, the trailer begins on a rather happy note with the narrator speaking about a tour and attendants who will cater to the player's every need.

What follows though, is not as advertised. Instead, the player character is shoved into an eerie theme park filled with uncanny mascots who apparently want the player character dead.

The trailer goes on to give fans a preview of the upcoming fight scenarios, including giant robots, dead bodies, and an assortment of weapons players will use against the living mascots.

No specific release date was included in the trailer, however, it ended with the words "opening soon."

According to video game news website Polygon, the upcoming expansion pack "Walk in the Park" will take place in CREO world, a theme park that was built for the employees of CREO and their families. Something went horribly wrong and the park is now inhabited by scary animatronics and people who've lost their minds. Polygon also mentioned that the expansion pack would come with 16 new weapons, armors, and implants for player customization. Aside from that, the game would reportedly be released in December for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

"The Surge" was developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive. It was originally released in May for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game takes place in a dystopian future, technology has improved drastically, but humans have used up all the earth's natural resources. Things are going downhill and to make matters worse, there are enemies out to get the protagonist as well.
