The effects of Sybil's (Nathalie Kelly) hold on Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will still be apparent in the next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8.

In the previous episode, the vault monster managed to infiltrate Damon's memories of Elena (Nina Dobrev) in order to further control his mind and make him do whatever she pleases. On the other hand, Enzo continues to fight Sybil's influence over him. Based on the trailer for the episode titled "You Decided That I Was Worth Saving," Sybil will ask Damon to kill his friend, Bonnie (Kat Graham).

But according to the synopsis for the upcoming episode that was posted by The Futon Critic, Bonnie will face a very difficult decision concerning two of the most important people in her life. Does this mean that a big fight will erupt between her friend Damon and the love of her life Enzo?

The trailer also showed that Damon already knew about the engagement of his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice King).

In the promo video, Damon suddenly showed up just when Caroline was about to shop for her wedding dress. But instead of congratulating his future sister-in-law, Damon attacked her. This made Caroline think twice about inviting the possessed Damon to her wedding.

However, Bonnie reminded her that Damon is still Stefan's brother. Despite her annoyance, Caroline decided that Damon will still be a part of their wedding. However, he will not have a special seat in the main table.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads: "As Enzo continues to fight the control over him, Bonnie finds herself at the center of a deadly game and forced to make a heart wrenching decision involving two of the most important people in her life. At the Armory, Alaric (Matt Davis) researches a mysterious artifact that he hopes will help in their fight to get Damon and Enzo back. Finally, Damon's downward spiral leads him to Tyler Lockwood (guest star Michael Trevino) who attempts to talk some sense into him before it's too late."

The CW will air the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 on Friday, Nov. 4.
