Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) wickedness becomes more obvious in the latest trailer for "The Vampire Diaries" season 8.

The new extended teaser revealed that Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) will continue pursuing Damon and Enzo (Michael Malarkey).

Bonnie might be losing hope as she says, "The search for Damon and Enzo goes on and on, and we're no closer to know where they are, or who, or what took them." But Stefan will encourage her to have faith that they will find his missing brother and their friend. Although, Bonnie will remind him that she will still join the search no matter what.

The trailer also dropped more hints about the vault monster who will control Damon and Enzo in the upcoming season of "The Vampire Diaries."

In the trailer, fans of the series will find out that the Damon and Enzo feed the monster with the humans that they abduct from the streets by lowering them down in a cage filled with bloody water.

Enzo might soon get tired of sacrificing human lives to the evil monster since he will ask the villain when will they ever stop. But Damon does not seem to mind if they continue their murder streak. When Enzo angrily confronted the villain, Damon nonchalantly pushed him down the bloody vault.

The trailer also showed that Stefan will finally come face to face with Damon. But instead of a warm reunion, Damon will tell his younger brother that he can no longer save him.

The eighth season of "The Vampire Diaries" will also be the last for the series. According to series co-creator Julie Plec, they all felt privileged that The CW president Mark Pedowitz and Warner Bros. Television president Peter Roth allowed them to air for a long time.

"It's been eight of the best years of my life. I will miss it terribly, but I'm so proud to be here to see it to its proper end," Plec said in a statement posted E! News.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will premiere on Friday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
