It is not only "Bad Liar" singer Selena Gomez who is catching up with a former flame. "Starboy" singer The Weeknd has also reportedly been mending fences with his ex.

Days after The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, was seen with "Boyfriend" singer Justin Bieber's ex, model Yovanna Ventura, he was rumored to have been meeting with his former love, model Bella Hadid, who he had dated prior to Gomez.

An E! News source claimed that The Weeknd was seen leaving the apartment of the sister of Gigi Hadid in New York City on Nov. 14, Tuesday. But, the insider also clarified that they were not back together; they had only been "hanging out" since his split with the former Disney child star.

"Abel reached out to Bella asking to hang out and catch up, and she decided to see him and see where things go. She knows that if they don't date again, they can at least be good friends," the source said.

That said, another source revealed that while The Weeknd might still be interested in getting back with the model, Bella was not quick to jump into it.

Although The Weeknd had expressed his sincere apologies towards Bella after hurting her, the second source shared that the model only wants to be friends for now. "She still loves him but has her guard up. She never really got over him," the insider said.

Aside from these, Bella reportedly got stronger after her breakup in 2016 with The Weeknd. The 21-year-old model was also said to have been keeping an eye on the news, meaning she was aware of the ladies that had been linked with the "I Feel It Coming" singer.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd's ex for the past few weeks had been seen spending some time with her ex as well. Gomez and Bieber were spotted multiple times, riding their bicycles, attending church, and even grabbing some breakfast.
