For almost a quarter of a century Ministry Today UK has been the only cross-denominational journal devoted to the practice of ministry. Now under the general editorship of Paul Beasley-Murray, all 72 issues have been combined into eight hard-backed volumes: Ministry Today UK 1994-2018 (published by the College of Baptist Ministers on behalf of Ministry Today UK)

A 'cornucopia' of pastoral wisdom and insight, with 520+ stimulating articles on almost every aspect of the practice of ministry, these volumes will become a standard work of reference on the practice of ministry.

To aid study and research, in addition to a general index to all the articles and authors, there is a 20-page study guide, listing thematically many of the key articles, on such subjects as abuse in the church, appraisal and review, call and role, change, chaplaincy, children, church buildings, church decision-making, church growth., church leadership, church leavers, conflict in the church, criticism and encouragement, disability, discipleship and learning communities, endings and beginnings, evangelism, experimentation and risk, funerals (including case studies and sermons), healing, homosexuality, leadership, the long-term pastorate, management, mental health, ministry, mission, mission and culture, money and stewardship, multi-cultural church, older people, pastoral care, pastoral counselling, patriotism and inclusivity, prayer, preaching, professionalism, retirement, the sabbath principle, sharing the load, small churches and larger churches, stress and burn-out, spirituality, surviving and thriving, teams, visiting, weddings and renewal of wedding vows, women in ministry and clergy wives, work and the ministry of all God's people, worship...
