Those who have been able to watch "Thor: Ragnarok" will know that there are a number of classic villains from the comics that have been included. Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), and Valkyrie (Tessa Thomson) take on the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum), Hela (Cate Blanchett), Surtur, and Skurge with the fate of the universe on the line.

Yet, there is another villain that was supposed to make an entrance in "Ragnarok," but ended up getting cut from the final movie. Which one was it? Director Taika Waititi revealed that it was Perrikus.

In a game hosted by IGN called "Thor Villain or IKEA Furniture," Waititi went up against Thomson and Hiddleston's team as they had to choose whether or not the name belonged to a Thor character or a piece of IKEA furniture. When the name "Perrikus" came up, Waititi was able to guess that it was the name of a Marvel character, later on revealing that the Dark God was initially going to be included in "Thor: Ragnarok."

The character was created by Dan Jurgens and John Romita Jr. in their Thor re-launch back in the late 90s. Perrikus is known to be the opposite of an Asgardian, and would come to war with the gods after his wife gets killed in battle. Perrikus is also a powerful enemy who was able to destroy Thor's hammer Mjolnir for some time and even had the strength to defeat Thor into his human form named Donald Blake.

Seeing as Perrikus and Hela have similar plots and motives in the film, it is not a far-off detail to see how he can replace the Goddess of Death. However, since Perrikus is considered to be one of the lesser known characters in the comics, Hela proved to be a better inclusion in the third "Thor" installment. Perrikus could even take Surtur's place in the film. However, as previously mentioned, Surtur is more popular in the comics canon.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will premiere on Nov. 3.
