The National Enquirer reports that the first couple of country music Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are headed for a $135 million dollar divorce.

The tabloid claims 23-year-old Taylor Swift has come between the couple and that Hill has been worried about 46-year-old McGraw's "sexual chemistry" with the young country pop singer.

Enquirer claims that "suspected infidelities" have pushed the couple to the brink of ending their 16-year marriage.

The magazine claims "the couple's life has turned into a battlefield, and now Tim is threatening to walk for good."

The story features on the front cover of Enquirer's September 2 issue.

However, the claims have been dismissed by the Gossip Cop website. It claims to have spoken to reps for both Hill and McGraw.

Hill's rep reportedly "scoffed" at the Enquirer report, while McGraw's rep told the website that the claims were "totally false and ridiculous".

It's not the first time the couple has been associated with the D-word, with Hill reportedly tired of McGraw's drinking and wanting him to get rid of negative influences.

Another couple at the centre of break-up talk is Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian, after Jennifer Richardson and Polina Polonsky claimed Lamar had cheated on his reality star wife with them.
