Christian athlete and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is dipping his toes into house-building and interior design now that he will be hosting the second season of the show called "Home Free," which will debut on Fox Network on June 16.

There will be 11 contestants competing for a free house for a person they consider their personal hero. Tebow tells FOX31 that all of the contestants are actually winners because all their heroes will wind up getting their dream houses.

"Every single one of them will get a home. [They will be] playing for their personal heroes who have done amazing things," he says.

"One of our contestants was a war hero in Afghanistan and got blown up, and the man he's playing for was the person who came back in battle and picked him up and carried him off the battlefield and saved his life. Another one of our contestants is playing for a woman who randomly donated her kidney to her father when he was on dialysis," Tebow says.

He says all these heroes deserve to be celebrated because of their kind and selfless deeds, adding that their stories will definitely inspire viewers to see the best in people.

"This show is filled with skill, will, strategy, competiveness, heart, so many amazing things. But I think the best thing [is] that it's bigger than the contestants. They're playing for something bigger than themselves, and I think that's pretty important. Just the selflessness of people to be able to change lives is pretty awesome," says Tebow.

He will co-host the "feel-good" show with professional contractor Mike Holmes, who has also starred in other shows such as "Holmes on Homes" and "Holmes Inspection."

Holmes is also known as the judge of the HGTV show "Handyman Superstar Challenge" and its American counterpart "All American Handyman" with Scott McGillivray.
