The media remains incredibly curious about former NFL player Tim Tebow's love life. There was a lot of fuss lately after his rumoured girlfriend Olivia Culpo reportedly dumped him for allegedly refusing to have premarital sex with her.

When the SEC analyst appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, even the famed talk show host could not resist talking about Tebow's romantic pursuits.

DeGeneres started by asking Tebow about his plans for football. The Christian athlete answered that he would love to rejoin the NFL "if I have the right opportunity. Obviously, I love playing the game so much. I'm in the best shape of my life."

DeGeneres agreed by saying, "I think you should be playing. I think you're really talented and really good...so hopefully you do find the right team."

When they started talking about his relationship status, Tebow admitted that he is single and the audience excitedly responded with an enthusiastic "oooooooh."

DeGeneres then asked what Tebow is looking for in a woman, and he answered: "Someone that I'm extremely attracted to. But I think there has to be more there, there has to be depth, you know? Obviously you have to have similar beliefs you have to have chemistry, character. But there has to be something more than just glitz and glamour."

Tebow added that he dates a lot, but only with the right girl.

Tebow earlier said there was something that he felt more passionate about aside from football and romance.

"Everyone needs to do something greater than themselves, to do something for other people," he told PEOPLE. "That's why we're here; that's why we're always looking for more ways that the Foundation can help others. I want to build a legacy that is greater than football."
