New rumors on the recently announced "Titanfall 2" suggest that the Electronic Arts (EA) game will be released this October, which means they might release it alongside EA's other shooter, "Battlefield 1." This information appears to be leaked from and subsequently deleted by the Reddit user Ilovegoogleglass on the "Titanfall" subreddit page.

Last March, Respawn CEO and founder Vince Zampella confirmed the shooter game's development, along with the possibility of the sequel being available on several different platforms like the PS4 and the Windows PC, instead of being exclusive to the Xbox One platform. Fans are also told to expect the developers to broaden the game's lore and maps and provide newer experiences with the game play.

Other leaks suggest the possibility of the shooter RPG game providing users with the ability to use grappling hooks and larger maps for the multiplayer mode. Forbes confirmed that the game will have an option for single-player mode campaigns in a world that is "both scientific and magical". The leak also included concept cover art for "Titanfall's" sequel. The subreddit page also stated that the pre-order bonus might be a handgun with the name the Violator.

"Titanfall" was able to break the 10 million sales mark this past October, so they are now able to consider more options for the sequel that they are planning to make. Due to the game's success, they are now able to have more options for non-exclusivity on the Xbox One, along with larger land areas and newer weapons and characters. The company also mentioned to Forbes that they might make a Titanfall spin-off series for television, but so far, they're keeping quiet on that front. We may learn more yet on the EA Play Events on June 12, where they will give a "worldwide announcement" on this year's line up of new titles.
