'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands' update: New trailer gives a glimpse into open-world gaming experience

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands Ubisoft/Ghost Recon

The new game for the "Ghost Recon" series, "Wildland's, just recently released its latest trailer, titled "We Are Ghosts". The new game was announced last year at E3, and BreatheCast reports that this will have five editions- the Deluxe, the Gold, the Fallen Angel, the Limited, and the Calavera Collector's Edition. Each edition will have their own set of special in-game items, which also provide access to different kinds of unique gaming content. These are currently available for pre-ordering (with a bonus mission, "The Peruvian Connection" included).

Stuff.tv also lets us know more about the 2-minute trailer being released. "Wildlands" is supposedly much more unique in terms of style and tone, as compared to most of the previous games in the 'Ghost Recon' series. Similar to other entries in the series, you are part of an elite squad of soldiers under the United States. You are all equipped on a mission to face dangerous enemies who may be part of a drug cartel in Bolivia. However, unlike the futuristic flashy and techy gear of the past, you will be using materials that wouldn't be so far-fetched with the technology of today. You will also be taking on the harsh terrain and uncooperative inhabitants of a virtual Bolivia.

Gospel Herald is also quick to notice the news that there are 60 different vehicles available for players in their missions. This game will be the largest open world military shooter game from Ubisoft so far. Tommy Francois, Editorial Vice President of Ubisoft, even mentioned that their studio trained with a team of elite soldiers from the US Army so they can be able to add a touch of realism to each of their missions.

More details and updates will be released at the Electronic Entertainment Expo on June 13, along with a possibility of news on the official release, states Ecumenical News. The game will be made available on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
